A-V Services is proud to announce an inspiring new charity initiative. On October 12, Travis Kowalskie, Project Coordinator at A-V Services, will run his first-ever marathon at the Cape Cod Marathon Weekend, dedicating every step to a cause that’s bigger than himself. In partnership with HOPe Charities and A-V Services, Inc., Travis is turning a personal milestone into a powerful opportunity to support vulnerable communities around the world.
A RUN INSPIRED BY RESILIENCE
For Travis, this marathon is more than just a 26.2-mile race; it’s a tribute to his late grandfather. His grandfather lived by the motto, “Stay tough. Tough times don’t last; tough people do.” This spirit of resilience and gratitude inspired Travis to channel his efforts toward helping others. By partnering with HOPe Charities, he is honoring his family’s legacy of overcoming hardship by providing support to those who need it most.
This run embodies a core belief we share at A-V Services: that individual actions, when combined, can create significant positive change. We are honored to support Travis as he takes on this incredible challenge.
PARTNERING FOR GLOBAL IMPACT WITH HOPE CHARITIES
A-V Services is partnering with HOPe (Helping Other People) Charities to ensure that every dollar raised makes a direct and lasting impact. HOPe Charities is dedicated to creating self-sustaining futures for communities by providing fundamental necessities like clean water systems, schools, and healthcare programs.
Their work has already transformed lives in countries across the globe, including:
- Brazil
- Ecuador
- Haiti
- India
- South Africa
- DR Congo
- Ethiopia
- Honduras
- Kenya
- Tanzania
Currently, HOPe Charities has active projects underway in Costa Rica, Honduras, Peru, and The Dominican Republic. One hundred percent of the funds raised through this marathon will go directly to these vital projects.
